Texture

What strikes me about Italy, besides the amazing art, architecture, food and history that is…is the texture.  The beauty of imperfection, the richness of decay, the patina of age.  


Poptarts and Scones

I wanted to practice some food photography, so of course I had to bake.  I made some blueberry lemon poppyseed scones that didn’t come out very well because I under cooked them.  My homemade berry white chocolate glazed pop tarts were pretty damn good though, even though I made them too big.    Thanks to Half Baked Harvest, one of my favorite food blogs, for the recipes and photography inspiration!
